Terms of Service

1. Who can use momomemo

You must be 18 or older. If you are under 20 (a minor under Thai law), your parent or guardian must know about and agree to your use. You must also follow Instagram’s terms.

2. The service

momomemo is an Instagram bot that summarizes the Reels you share (or the Instagram / TikTok links you paste in the chat), lists the tools mentioned and where to get the things they point to, and keeps a web page of the Reels you save. The service is in beta. We may change, limit, pause or stop any feature or the whole service, and will try to give notice of major changes.

Our AI has a daily usage limit shared by all users. When the service is busy, or a clip cannot be fetched for the moment, the bot tells you your clip is in the queue and sends the summary later. Once the day’s limit is reached, the bot may ask whether to keep your clip and summarize it the next day. Reels that already have a summary still work as usual. Instagram lets the bot reply only within 24 hours of your last message; if a summary is not ready in that time, we cannot send it and remove the clip from the queue without notice (no credit is used). You can send the clip again at any time.

momomemo is not owned, endorsed or operated by, or affiliated with, Instagram or Meta.

3. AI summaries are not advice

• Summaries are written by AI and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check the original Reel before relying on one.
• Summaries are not health, medical, financial, investment or legal advice. Ask a qualified professional for those.
• A summary reports what the Reel says. We do not check whether claims or news in a Reel are true. When a clip makes claims that cannot be checked from the clip itself, the summary carries a “not verified” note.
• When a Reel is about health, money or law, the summary reports what the clip says and shows a caution note in the chat and on the page. We do not confirm that it is correct, safe or worth following, and for money topics we show no links from the clip.
• Summaries aim to describe content neutrally and do not reflect our views.
• Your 👍 / 🤔 votes help us find and fix wrong summaries.

4. What you may not do

• Use the service for anything illegal, or send content that is illegal, infringes others’ rights, or sexualizes children.
• Send spam or automated bulk messages, or use the bot to harass anyone. If you send too much too fast (for example many Reels within a minute), the bot stops replying for about 10 minutes, and on the third time in one day for 24 hours.
• Use several accounts to get around quotas or limits.
• Try to hack or overload the service, scrape our website, or get around limits or credits.
• Republish summaries or transcripts commercially or at scale.
• Use the service to transcribe or reproduce content you have no right to (for example paid courses or content leaked from private groups), or use summaries or transcripts to harass, expose personal information about, or track anyone.
• Place text in a clip or caption to instruct our AI (prompt injection) or to make our service distribute your links. Our system treats text in a clip as data, not instructions, and may decline the clip.

If you do, we may decline your requests, limit your use or suspend your account.

5. Content we do not summarize

momomemo does not summarize or save these kinds of Reels, and no credit is used:

• sexual or adult content, including links to adult sites;
• gambling, such as online casinos, betting or slots sites, or links to them;
• scams, such as get-rich-quick schemes, fake investments, phishing, loan sharks or fake giveaways;
• political content that pushes an opinion, such as propaganda or information operations, campaigning, or attacking or praising politicians, parties or the government;
• content about the Thai monarchy or royal family;
• nationalist or religious propaganda;
• selling, sourcing or teaching how to make drugs, weapons, explosives or forged documents;
• incitement to violence, hate against a group, promotion of self-harm or eating disorders, or challenges likely to cause injury;
• clips made to shame, threaten, expose or humiliate a person;
• sexual content involving children: the system detects and declines it without keeping the content; we record the clip ID and time, report it to the authorities, and suspend the account of anyone who sends such content a second time.

Ordinary religious teaching and neutral, factual news are still summarized. Sorting is automatic (our AI together with a word list for gambling, the monarchy, drugs and weapons) and can make mistakes; if you think a Reel was declined by mistake, tell us on the Feedback / requests page or by email.

We may also decline to summarize, or remove summaries of, content that is violent, hateful, illegal or otherwise harmful, and when the Reel’s creator or rights holder files a request (section 6). A summary removed on request is not made again when someone shares that Reel.

6. Content and intellectual property

• Reels belong to their creators. momomemo summarizes them for your personal, non-commercial reference only. The full transcript of a Reel is shown only to people who saved it; other readers see the beginning.
• When you send us a Reel or message, you let us and our AI providers process it to provide the service, and let us keep the resulting summary as a shared summary for other users.
• If the original clip is deleted or made private, its summary is hidden once we notice and deleted after 30 days if the clip does not come back (see the Privacy Policy, section 7). Credits are not refunded.
• The momomemo name, logo, software and design belong to malalo studio.
• Creators, rights holders and people who appear in a clip can file a request on the Feedback / requests page or by email. On a request that identifies the Reel, we hide its summary page at once, acknowledge within 1 business day and decide to remove or restore it within 3 business days (illegal content: within 24 hours). Details in the Privacy Policy, section 8. Accounts that repeatedly send Reels later removed on request may be suspended (section 10).

7. Credits and plans

• The free plan includes 30 credits per calendar month (Thailand time, resetting on the 1st). When you are close to the limit, the bot tells you how many credits are left. Once they are used up, the bot does not summarize Reels you have not saved yet until the next month, but Reels you already saved still work, free when you send them again. New accounts may use at most 10 credits per day (Thailand time) during their first 7 days, within the same monthly quota.
• Free-plan replies may be slower than paid plans. The bot sends each summary a short while after your message (currently about 45 seconds; if summarizing already took longer, there is no extra wait) and summarizes one clip at a time: if you send more clips while one is being summarized, the rest wait in the queue and arrive in order, within the time Instagram lets the bot reply (section 2). Paid plans, if offered, may reply faster. At most once a week the bot may ask whether you would be interested in a plan with faster replies. This only measures interest: it is not an offer to sell.
• When you reach the limit, the bot may ask whether you would be interested in a plan with more summaries, with an approximate price. This only measures interest: it is not an offer to sell, and nothing is charged in the chat.
• A Reel summarized from its caption only, or a photo post, uses 0.5 credit. A Reel whose video the AI watches uses 1 credit if the clip is up to 5 minutes long, and 2 credits if it is longer. For clips over 10 minutes, the AI watches only the first 10 minutes (2 credits) and the bot tells you so in its reply. If a clip is too long or its file too big to watch, the bot summarizes the caption instead (0.5 credit) and tells you. Reels with nothing to summarize, or that fail, use none. A Reel you already saved and send again costs nothing more, including when we re-analyze or upgrade its summary for you. Credits are charged once per Reel per person, the first time you save it, at the rates above, even if someone else already shared that Reel and its summary already exists (we do not need to run the AI again, but it still counts toward your credits). If you ask the AI to watch the full video after a caption-only summary, only the difference is charged. A TikTok link pasted in the chat uses credits like a Reel. A clip waiting in the queue (section 2) uses credits only once the bot has sent you its summary.
• We may offer paid plans or credit top-ups in the future, paid on our website. When paid plans or credit top-ups are offered, the price and terms are shown before you pay. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time and run until the end of the paid period. Credits have no cash value.
• If something goes wrong with a payment, email momoplugin.help@gmail.com. We will review it and fix or refund as appropriate. This does not affect your consumer rights under Thai law.

8. Shop links and other services

By accepting these Terms, you agree that momomemo may add affiliate or referral links (for example to online shops, apps, AI tools and other services) to summary web pages (chat replies contain only a link to that page). We always say when a link is an affiliate link.

momomemo may earn a commission if you buy or sign up through these links. This never changes the price you pay or what the summary says, and we never turn a link from the clip or its caption into an affiliate link. Links in the caption are always shown first, separate from “Momo’s picks”. They are the clip owner’s links, not ours: we have not checked the destination, and we show a warning page before you leave for a site we do not know (see the Privacy Policy, section 10). Momo’s picks are suggestions chosen by AI or by aggregate usage statistics, not endorsements or reviews of the products. Any purchase is between you and the shop, which is responsible for its products. Instagram, shops and other linked sites have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

10. Stopping and suspension

You can stop using momomemo and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, to protect the service or others, or when the law requires.

11. Warranties and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that summaries are accurate or that the service is always available.

To the extent Thai law allows, malalo studio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or data, or loss from relying on AI summaries, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any right the law does not allow to be excluded.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Thai law, and Thai courts have jurisdiction over disputes. Before going to court, please email momoplugin.help@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it together.

13. Changes to these Terms

When we change these Terms, we update the date at the top. For important changes, we will also tell you through the bot or on this website before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new Terms.

14. Language

These Terms are available in Thai and English. If the two versions differ, the Thai version prevails.
